- 1kg carisma potatoes peeled quartered
- 1 4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1 2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 4 teaspoon chilli flakes
- 400g can chickpeas rinsed drained
- 2 naan breads
- 1 cup greek style yoghurt
- coriander sprigs to serve
The Instruction of spiced potatoes and chickpeas
- cook potato in a large saucepan of boiling water for 5 mins or until partially cooked drain well
- heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat add mustard seeds and cook for 30 secs add ground coriander turmeric and chilli cook stirring for 30 secs or until fragrant add potato and cook stirring occasionally for 4 5 mins or until golden and crisp stir in the chickpeas and cook for 1 minute to warm through
- heat the naan following packet directions thin the yoghurt with a little water and drizzle over the potato mixture top with coriander and serve with naan
